iPad 的竞争对手

今天看了报纸, 说今年将会有接近50种不同的Tablet PC出来跟苹果争一日之长短.

当中多少是真的能跟苹果拼的呢?

现在已经出来了的有:
Archos 101
HP Slate500
Samsung Galaxy Tab

HP太贵, Archos一直断货. Samsung太小.

我是不会买iPad的了, 但到现在我还没有看到一个满意的代替品.

不买iPad的原因:

- 内存记忆不能加.
- 不能直接放照片, 音乐, 电影进去, 只能通过iTunes
- 没有webcam, 不能视频 (iPad2 会解决这问题)
- 在可见的将来都不支援Flash

第一和第二点是致命的. 就算我多喜欢iphone, 如果要代替我的电脑一定要具备第一和第二点.

让我期待的几个Tablet:

Asus Eee pad
RIM Playbook
Archos 101 (当他们有货的时候)
HP WebOS Tablet

我的儿子, 梁熙朗 / Terry Leung

由于孩子是长子长孙长曾孙, 所以本来打算中文名字由爷爷改, 但被他拒绝. (理由是因为在下的名字由他来取, 但被我妈改了. 为了怕历史重演, 只好腕拒)

球于是踢到我爸那里, 由于我跟他的关系一般, 于是他再把球踢到我妈那里.

我妈是迷信的. 名字由她来取, 那就等于是由相士来取.

幸好那人给了我们一大堆名字来选. 一看才发现名字都是什么伟, 什么明, 什么烽. 听起来更像我上一輩的名字. 难的熙朗比较好听. 就选这个. 我们也希望孩子有康熙的才华, 开朗地生活.

英文名字由我和老婆来取.

有几个Criteria:
- 挪威语和英语的读法不能差太远(很多C, J开头的名字立刻消失掉)
- 对于不懂英语的外家家人来说, 名字不能太难念
- 由于梁算是广东大性, 所以 xxx Leung 全名不能太普遍 (Michael, Phillip, 用Facebook查).
- 历史上不能有大坏蛋有过的名字 (Adolf)
- 发音不能是中文里面不好的东西 (Vincent = 瘟神, Pierre = 屁眼儿)

结果 Arthur, Erwin, Kasper, Erikson 都被考虑过之后, 就决定取下Terry这名字.

昨天把小孩抱去做6个月检查. 体重到达7.35公斤, 身长69cm. 一切正常, 没什么问题.

Ok, I am back.

Thanks 校长 & "漂亮姐姐". I made up my mind to reopen this blog after meeting with you two. I think this blog is afterall quite useful to communicate with my remote friends.

A few changes during 2010, just to sum it up here:

- Jan: Quit at D restaurant and went back to C restaurant
- Mar: Went to Dublin for Guinnes and Bailey's
- Apr: Got a new job
- May: Moved to new apartment
- Jul: Baby born
- Aug: Started at new job
- Sep/Oct: Went to Berlin with family
- Oct: Went to Edinburgh for Whiskey
- Nov: Bought apartment number 3. (aquiring more debt along the way)
- Dec: Wife got employed, pending contract signature

Have also made quite a few friends this year. People who I look forward to spend some quality time with in this otherwise boring place.

新"車"入伙

由于家里两个车各有问题, 所以买车计划被迫推前. 昨天趁工作不忙蛇王出去买车.

挪威的车超贵(跟美国比), 所以由目标的VW Passat改为同是VW家庭的东欧版Skoda Octavia.

两个月前租车出去玩, 就是这一部(当时是08年款). 开过觉得没问题. 后来发现这车并不贵(跟其他品牌比). 于是就成为了这次买车的目标. 考虑到能力问题, 选择了这部2002年, 但只开了41000公里的. 这部车的另一优点是4x4, 在雪地开会比较好.

零首期, 供四年. 每月四千有找. 希望它可以无病无痛地陪我的孩子长大.

圣诞Party

上周末参加了公司的圣诞派对. 还玩了Curling. 当天狂喝酒, 第二天居然还可以若无其事地去餐馆上班, 简直是奇迹.

要走的此终要走.

公司七月的时候请了一个专家, 奥地利来的.

当时大家都不认识他, 只知道他是我们一个Developer主管极力推荐的. 我们都在想, 这样的人为什么会来我们这里呢?

后来他来了, 我们也跟他一起做过project. 发现他跟我们的想像中的一样, 而我更是连做他学生恐怕也没有资格. 公司里面的人去Conference都是听的, 他却是去讲的.

他比我年长8年. 那8年的分别, 恐怕就全是Programming了.

很难得的是, 他很平易近人. 午饭后的Dart Game他尽量出席. 慢慢我们变成无所不谈的朋友. 跟他做朋友比其他永远只谈风花雪月的人好多了. 而在挪威, 这种无所不谈的朋友其实就只有他跟斗牛士(他是西班牙来的同事).

上星期他说有事情跟我和斗牛士说. 反正星期天我们约了一起吃饭庆祝我快要做爸爸, 就等到那天再说吧. 真的吓了我们一跳. 他告诉我们他年底要走了, 理由就像我们想的一样, 想跟同Level的人一起工作. 而我们除了不舍得之外, 也替他高兴.

遗憾的只是这半年没有好好把握时间去跟他多学点东西. 幸好他不是去得太远, 只是去英国剑桥. 要看他不难.

另外旧公司的一个朋友也终于交了辞职信了. 从我走的那一天跟他说叫他快走, 他终于觉悟了. 他工作了三年的薪水都不够刚进来的多. 公司明显大细超. 这种公司留下来没意思.
